1. 일반 원칙
가.논문은 기본적으로 한글 프로그램을 사용하여 작성한다. 글자크기는 ‘10’, 줄간격은 160%, 자간은 0, 장평은 100으로 하며, 편집용지는 ‘A4 좁게’, 글 꼴은 ‘바탕 또는 명조’로 설정한다. 단, 영어 논문은 MS-Word를 사용하여 작성할 수 있다.
나.논문의 분량은 A4용지를 기본으로 논지 전개에 필요한 최소한의 도면, 사진, 표 등을 포함하여 25면 이내로 한다.
다.논문의 구성은 제목, 필자명, 목차, 국문요약, 주제어, 본문, 참고문헌, Abstract, Keywords의 순으로 한다.
다.외래어나 외국어는 표준적인 국문 표기법에 따라 표기한다.
라.주요 표기는 다음과 같이 통일한다.
예)서명: 『 』, 논문명: 「 」, 작품: 〈 〉
마.도판설명, 표, 참고문헌의 표기는 SCOPUS의 게재원칙에 따른다.
바.생성형 AI(를 활용하여 논문을 작성한 경우, 그 활용 범위와 도구의 명칭을 본문이나 사사표기에 구체적으로 명시해야 한다. 단, AI는 논문의 저자가 될 수 없으며 AI가 생성한 내용에 대한 모든 책임은 저자에게 있다.
2. 제목과 이름

논문의 처음에 제목, 이름, 소속을 밝힌다. 영문의 경우 표준 로마자 표기법을 따른다.

3. 목차
가.제목 아래에 목차를 제시한다.
나.장절의 구분은 I, 1, 1), (1), 가나다 순으로 한다.
다.서론(머리말)과 결론(맺음말)도 장에 포함된다. 목차에는 장만 기재한다.
예)I. 서론 Ⅱ. 문제제기 1. 연구의 현황 2. 문제 제기 … Ⅳ. 결론
4. 인용문
가.불가피한 경우를 제외하고는 번역문을 싣되, 필요하면 주에 원문을 병기한다.
나.인용문이 긴 경우에는 별도의 단락에 제시한다. 이 경우 글자크기를 1포인트 줄이고, 위, 아래 한 칸씩 띄운다.
5. 인용문헌
가.유적명을 열거하는 경우, 근거 보고서의 인용은 가능한 한 생략한다.
나.인용문헌은 원전과 동일한 문자로 다음과 같이 표기한다.

4)두 연구 이상: 한국어, 중국어, 일본어, 서양어의 순으로 저자를 나열하고, 같은 문자를 사용하는 저자들은 한국어는 한글 자모순, 중국어, 일본어는 한자음의 한글 자모순, 서양어는 알파벳순으로 세미콜론을 사용하여 구분한다. 같은 저자의 경우 연도순으로 한다.

다.인용문 구성 방식의 예는 다음과 같이 한다.
1)홍길동(1998: 213)에 의하면……, 홍길동(1998: 213)은……, 홍길동(1998: 213-215)은…….
2)……로 보는 견해(홍길동, 1998: 213)가 있다., ……로 보기도 한다(홍길동, 1998: 213-215).
3)“홍길동에 의하면 ……라고 한다(홍길동, 1998: 213).”는 식으로 필자가 중복 인용되는 표현은 피한다.
6. 주석
가.본문 중의 인용문헌 표시 이외에 필요한 경우 각주를 달 수 있다.
나.각주는 해당 문장 또는 용어의 끝에 반괄호의 일련번호를 매기고, 가능한 한 간략히 기술한다. 각주 중의 인용에 관한 사항은 본문과 같은 원칙으로 작성한다.
다.웹사이트 및 신문기사 인용은 각주로 한다.

라.논문 작성 과정에서 생성형 AI를 사용한 경우, 각주를 통해 "본 논문은 [AI 도구 명칭]을 [활용 분야: 예-영문 초록 교정, 데이터 정리 등]에 활용하였음"을 명시해야 한다.
7. 도판과 표
가.도판과 표는 본문과 함께 배열하지 않고 별도의 문서로 작성한다.
나.도판(사진, 그림, 도면 등)은 포괄하여 일련번호로 제시하되 ‘(fig 1)’과 같은 식으로 붙인다.
다.표에는 별도의 일련번호를 붙이고 ‘table 1’과 같은 식으로 표기한다.
라.본문에서는 (fig 1), (table 1)과 같이 지시한다.
마.도판설명은 (fig 1), 작가(있을 경우), <작품명>, 제작연도 또는 시대, 재료, 크기, 소장처의 순으로 제시한다.
바.도판은 디지털데이터 형식으로 제출해야 한다. 각 도판은 해상도 300dpi 이상, jpeg 타입, 2~3MB 내외의 사양을 권장한다.
사.도록 등 출판된 문헌의 사진을 이용할 경우 도판 설명 뒤의 괄호 안에 (저자, 책 제목, 도판 번호나 쪽수) 순으로 출처를 밝힌다. 단, 출처를 밝히기 어려운 경우 편집위원회의 권고를 따른다.
8. 참고문헌
가.참고문헌은 본문에 인용된 문헌만 표기한다.
나.참고문헌의 정렬은 한국어, 중국어, 일본어, 서양어 문헌의 순으로 하되, 논문과 저서 구별 없이 한국어는 저자의 한글 자모순, 중국어, 일본어는 저자명 한자음의 한글 자모순, 서양어는 저자의 알파벳 순으로 한다.
다.한 저자의 문헌이 여러 개 있을 경우에는 출판년도 순으로 같은 연도의 문헌은 알파벳순으로 구분한다.
라.공동 연구는 같은 필명의 단독 연구 다음에 놓는다.
마.참고문헌은 원전과 동일한 문자로 다음과 같이 표기한다.

9. 기타 표기
가.작가나 저자는 호가 아닌 정식 명칭을 사용한다.
나.문장의 서술 중 주는 가능하면 문맥이 끝나는 곳이나 그 내용이 문장 속에서 끝나는 부분에 넣도록 한다.
다.도판이 문장의 끝에 들어갈 경우, 마침표는 도판번호 뒤에 넣는다.
예)... 작품이다(fig 1).
라.중국과 일본의 고유명사를 쓰는 경우는 한자로 표기하되, 처음 나올 때에 괄호 안에 발음을 병기한다.
10. 국문 초록 및 영문 초록
가.투고 논문은 국문 초록을 첨부해야 한다. 분량은 원고지 3매(최대 500자에 해당) 이내로 제한한다.
나.영문 초록(Abstract)은 편집위원회에서 번역을 의뢰하되, 투고자가 직접 최종 교정을 실시한다.
11. 필자 소속 및 연구비 출처
가.필자의 소속과 직책 및 이메일주소는 논문 첫 쪽 각주 칸에 표기한다.
나.연구비의 출처(사사표기)는 ‘필자 소속’ 표기 줄의 아랫줄에 표기한다.
12. 본 지침에 명시되지 않은 사항은 편집위원회의 결정을 따른다.

1. General Principles
a.As a rule, manuscripts shall be written using the Hangul (HWP) word processor. Font size shall be 10 pt, line spacing 160%, letter spacing (자간) 0, and character width (장평) 100%; the page layout shall be set to "A4 Narrow," and the typeface to "Batang or Myeongjo" (serif). English-language papers, however, may be written using MS-Word.
b.The length of a paper shall not exceed 25 pages of A4, including the minimum drawings, photographs, tables, etc. necessary to develop the argument.
c.A paper shall be organized in the following order: title, author name, table of contents, Korean abstract, keywords, main text, references, Abstract (English), and Keywords (English).
d.Loanwords and foreign words shall be transcribed in accordance with standard Korean transcription rules.
e.Principal notations shall be standardized as follows:
e.g.,Book titles: 『 』 ; Article titles: 「 」 ; Works (of art): 〈 〉
f.Figure captions, tables, and references shall follow SCOPUS publication conventions.
g.When a paper has been written with the use of generative AI, the scope of use and the name of the tool must be specifically stated in the main text or in the acknowledgments. AI cannot, however, be an author of a paper, and all responsibility for AI-generated content rests with the author.
2. Title and Name
3. Table of Contents
a.A table of contents shall be provided beneath the title.
b.Chapters and sections shall be divided in the order I, 1, 1), (1), 가·나·다 (a, b, c).
c.The Introduction (머리말) and Conclusion (맺음말) also count as chapters. Only chapters are listed in the table of contents.

4. Quotations
a.Except where unavoidable, translations shall be given; where necessary, the original text shall be provided alongside in a note.
b.When a quotation is long, it shall be set in a separate paragraph, with the font size reduced by 1 point and one blank line above and below.
5. In-text Citations
a.When listing site names, citation of the underlying excavation reports shall be omitted as far as possible.
b.Citations shall be written in the same script as the original source, as follows: Single-author study

c.Citations shall be constructed as follows: According to 홍길동 (1998: 213)……, 홍길동 (1998: 213) is……, 홍길동 (1998: 213-215) is……. There is a view that …… (홍길동, 1998: 213).; It is also held that …… (홍길동, 1998: 213-215). Avoid redundant citation of the author, such as "According to 홍길동, …… (홍길동, 1998: 213)."
6. Notes
a.In addition to in-text citation marks, footnotes may be added where necessary.
b.Footnotes shall be marked with a serial number followed by a closing parenthesis (e.g., 1)) at the end of the relevant sentence or term, and kept as brief as possible. Citations within footnotes follow the same principles as the main text.
c.Citations of websites and newspaper articles shall be given in footnotes.

7. Figures and Tables
a.Figures and tables shall not be placed within the main text but prepared as a separate document.
b.Figures (photographs, drawings, plans, etc.) shall be given inclusive serial numbers in the form "(fig 1)."
c.Tables shall be given separate serial numbers in the form "table 1."
d.They shall be referred to in the main text as (fig 1), (table 1).
e.Figure captions shall be presented in the order: (fig 1), artist (if any), <title of work>, year of production or period, material, dimensions, repository.
f.Figures must be submitted in digital format. Each figure is recommended to be at least 300 dpi, jpeg type, and around 2–3 MB.
g.When using a photograph from a published source such as an exhibition catalogue, the source shall be given in parentheses after the caption in the order (author, book title, plate number or page). Where the source is difficult to identify, follow the editorial committee's recommendation.
8. References
a.Only references cited in the main text shall be listed.
b.References shall be ordered Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Western, without distinguishing between articles and books: Korean by the author's Hangul order, Chinese and Japanese by the Hangul order of the Sino-Korean reading of the author's name, and Western by the author's alphabetical order.
c.When there are several works by one author, order them by year of publication; works of the same year are distinguished alphabetically.
d.Co-authored studies are placed after single-author studies under the same name.
e.References shall be written in the same script as the original source, as follows: Monograph: author, year, 『title』, edition, place of publication: publisher.

9. Other Notations
a.For artists and authors, use the formal name rather than a pen name (호).
b.Within a sentence, notes shall as far as possible be placed where the context ends or where the relevant content concludes within the sentence.
c.When a figure reference comes at the end of a sentence, the period is placed after the figure number.
e.g.,… it is such a work (fig 1).
d.Chinese and Japanese proper nouns shall be written in Chinese characters (Hanja), with the pronunciation given in parentheses at first occurrence.
10. Korean and English Abstracts
a.A submitted paper must include a Korean abstract, limited to within 3 manuscript sheets (equivalent to a maximum of 500 characters).
b.The English abstract (Abstract) shall be translated at the editorial committee's commission, but the submitter shall personally perform the final proofreading.
11. Author Affiliation and Funding Source
a.The author's affiliation, position, and email address shall be indicated in the footnote area of the first page.
b.The funding source (acknowledgment) shall be indicated on the line below the "author affiliation" line.
12. Matters not specified in these guidelines shall follow the decision of the editorial committee.
